There’s a lot to like about Fede Alvarez‘s horror-thriller Don’t Breathe, which was released into cinemas earlier this year. The film made a whopping $150 million plus at the global box-office during its theatrical run alone, all from a budget of around $10 million. It won’t come as no surprise then that a sequel is already in the works over at Sony.
Don’t Breathe 2 will be once again directed by Alvarez, but don’t expect it any time soon. The helmer is first to direct a sequel to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl In The Spider’s Web, which we reported on earlier today.
Website Coming Soon said that while Don’t Breathe sequel doesn’t yet have a green light, Alvarez says that he’s definitely planning on returning to the director’s chair.
Also expected to return is Stephen Lang’s villainous Blind Man.
