There are always tons of rumours circulating the internet, and this one should be taken with a rather large grain of salt, but it looks like Ben Affleck, who stepped down from directing the planned stand-alone Batman movie last week, may want out of the role too.
The rumour comes from the Collider Talk podcast (via The Playlist) where host John Campea says:
“Ben Affleck, make no mistake, he wants out. He doesn’t want to be Batman anymore.”
We actually don’t mind Affleck as the Caped Crusader – he’s definitely one of the best things about Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and we really don; want to see him go. We must stress that this is still rumour-only at the this stage as there has been no official comment from anyone concerned.
Whatever happen, Affleck will next be seen in Justice League later in the year.
