Antibirth arrives in the UK on digital download on Monday 27th March. The film, which screened at Fantasia Festival stars Orange is the New Black‘s Natasha Lyonne as a young woman who finds herself pregnant, despite not having done the deed. Her character Lou is a long way from the virgin Mary, spending her time drinking and taking drugs with her best friend Sadie (Chloë Sevigny). As the pregnancy develops it becomes very clear that there’s something exceptionally odd about what Lou is carrying.
We saw it at Fantasia and described it as being ‘Rosemary’s Baby for the waster generation.’ It’s definitely the craziest film you’re likely to see this year. Don’t believe us? You might think differently after viewing the trailer…
Antibirth can be downloaded from 27th March, with the DVD released 10th April.
