Dwayne Johnson teases the Fast & Furious spin-off with Jason Statham

We reported late on Friday that Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are to go head to head in a spin-off from the Fast & Furious movies, and now the actor has teased the forthcoming film via his highly-followed Instagram account.

His message was posted with a photo celebrating Fast and Furious 8‘s (aka The Fate Of The Furious) two-week reign at the top of the box-office.

The planned film may kick into gear before the next official Fast movie starts giving us some more action before 2019 when the new movie is scheduled to release. There are no definites, but we’re looking forward to seeing Johnson backs as Hobbs, facing off against Statham’s Deckard Shaw. More as we get it.
