Clint Eastwood is back with a trailer for his new film J. EDGAR, which premiered on iTunes Movie Trailers but for your convenience, can be seen below!
Starring golden-boy Leonardo DiCaprio, the film takes an in-depth exploration into the dubious public and private life of FBI agent J. Edgar Hoover. Hoover had a lengthy career with the FBI and helped to revolutionise crime-fighting techniques, most notably perhaps centralised finger print file and forensic laboratories. However, Edgar’s career wasn’t clear-cut and would result in a legislation that restricts FBI agents to 10-year terms.
J. EDGAR will provide a thrilling account of the agent’s 50-year career in which he was admired, feared and despised. Edgar’s career-shattering secret life will be explored in detail and delivered in style by DiCaprio.
The film will co-star Naomi Watts, Judi Dench, Armie Hammer, Josh Lucas and Ken Howard and is set to open 9th of November in limited theatres but then releasing more openly on the 11th.
