Amazon Prime Video have released the new trailer for their upcoming original series, The Tick. After a successful debut during last year’s pilot season, the property comes to the streamer for a run from August 25th.
Peter Serafinowicz, Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, Yara Martinez and Brendan Hines are amongst the cast of the new show, which is based upon the fictional superhero created by cartoonist Ben Edlund in 1986 as a newsletter mascot for the New England Comics chain of Boston area comic book stores.
In a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an accountant with no superpowers comes to realize his city is owned by a super villain. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero.
