Legendary screen actors Michaell Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne have joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Ant-Man and The Wasp.
The two have pretty key roles in the movie. Pfieffer will play Janet Van Dyne, the wife of Michael Douglas’s Hank Pym and the original Wasp, while Fishburne will play Dr. Bill Foster, who in the comics is an assistant to both Tony Stark and Hank Pym and who eventually takes on Pym’s Giant Man abilities and becomes known as Goliath.
Shooting on the film is expected to begin shortly with Paul Rudd returning as Scott Lang/ Ant-Man, and Evangeline Lily as Hope Pym/ The Wasp. Michael Douglas returns as Dr. Hank Pym, Michael Pena is Luis, David Dastmalchian plays Kurt, T.I.returns as Dave, Randall Park is S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jimmy Woo, Hannah John-Kamen is the Ghost and Walton Goggins enters the MCU in an unnamed role.
Filming will kick off in Atlanta with the film expected in cinemas in 2018. More news as we get it.
