Lionsgate has released the very first image of Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley in the forthcoming big-screen version of the hit novel series Chaos Walking. Doug Limank (American Made) is directing the motion picture, which is based on the book of the same name by Patrick Ness (A Monster Calls).
The source material is actually a series of three books titled The Knife Of Never Letting Go, The Ask and The Answer and Monsters Of Men.
According to Wikipedia, the story ‘is set in a dystopian world where all living creatures can hear each other’s thoughts in a stream of images, words, and sounds called Noise. The series is named after a line in the first book: “The Noise is a man unfiltered, and without a filter, a man is just chaos walking.”‘
There’s a bit of a wait until the film version will hit cinemas, as the current date penciled in is for March 2019. Check out the image from the set above. We’ll bring you more as we get it.
