‘Doctor Who’ Series 11 Gets 3 New Companions

The next season of Doctor Who will get three new companions. The new cast members were revealed this weekend by the BBC. Jodie Whittaker will take over the title role from Peter Capaldi for season 11, and she will be joined by the likes of Bradley Walsh, who will play the role of ‘Graham’, while Tosin Cole has been cast in the role of Ryan, and Mandip Gill as Yasmin. The three were pictured in a new image, released by the corporation.

Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall is the new showrunner on Doctor Who, which has been confirmed to hit the BBC in the autumn of 2018, which is slightly later than its usual spot.

Series 11 of Doctor Who will run for ten episodes, with each one extended to 50 minutes each. It will kick off with an hour-long first episode next year.

Filming on the new season kicks off very soon. We’ll bring you more info as it comes our way.
