Played in 81 versions around the world, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? It is the most successful quiz show in British TV History.
With the help of three “lifelines” – 50/50 phone a friend and ask the audience – the show has racked up 30 series and 591 episodes. The questions were so difficult that during its 17 years of airing, only five lucky Brits made it to – and correctly answered – the million-pound question.
During these 591, nail-biting episodes there have been some fantastic blunders on the show. Paddy Power Bingo have compiled a list of utter fails from the quiz show, across all countries.
