Alex Garland To Deliver FX-Based TV Pilot ‘Devs’

He’s currently wowing Netflix audiences in the UK with his new movie Annihilation, but Alex Garland has already got his sights set on his next project, a new TV pilot named Devs. The planned show, which will go before the cameras later this year with Garland writing and directing the pilot, is based over at FX Networks.

Deadline first reported the news, and added a brief synopsis of what we can expect to their post.

They say that the story will revolve around a young computer engineer named Lily, who investigates the secretive development division of her employer, a cutting-edge tech company based in San Francisco, which she believes is behind the disappearance of her boyfriend.
