One of the big Marvel releases of 2019 is now shooting in and around Los Angeles, and its star Brie Larson has been pictured in action as the titular character of Captain Marvel. The new film will be Marvel Studios’ very first female-led adventure, and will reportedly be set in the 1990s.
The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.
Just Jared captured some images of Larson on the L.A. set this week, seemingly hoisted high above the streets on wires. Ben Mendelsohn, Gemma Chan, McKenna Grace, Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg are also amongst the cast of the movie.
