Atomic Blonde and the Deadpool 2 director David Leitch has officially signed on the dotted line to direct the Fast & Furious spin-off featuring starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Staham. The two will reprise their respective characters Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, last seen in Fast & Furious 8 last year.
The film, which has a rumoured title of Hobbs and Shaw, has a street date set for July 26th, 2019.
Plot details are unknown presently, but Leitch will direct from a script written by Chris Morgan, the man behind six of the previous instalments.
