First Plot Details For M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Glass’ Are Revealed

Glass set photos appear online

“It’s about time I got the title role in my own motherfucking movie,” says Samuel L. Jackson at the annual CinemaCon event in Las Vegas. He refers to his role in Glass, the sequel to both Unbreakable and Split, which is due in cinemas next January.

M. Night Shyamalan’s next film also sees the return of Bruce Willis and James McAvvoy from the two aforementioned movies, along with newcomer to the series Sarah Paulson. All took to the stage at Caesars Palace in the city on Wednesday. The group spilled some new info on the movie too.

The Hollywood Reporter were on hand to get the skinny.

Paulson, who plays a psychiatrist in the forthcoming film, revealed that her character specialises in “individuals who believe they are superheroes.”

A debut trailer played out to the crowd at the hotel and casino, which was met with huge applause.

Jackson reprises his role as Elijah Price, aka Mr. Glass in the film, and is seen in the trailer saying Price speaks up in the trailer saying, “I have been waiting for the world to see that we exist.”

“Finally the thriller genre and the comic book genre have come together,” said Shyamalan on stage, calling Glass the “first really grounded superhero movie.”

The film will arrive in cinemas on January 19th, 2019. More at the end of the link above and, of course, as it comes in.
