Liam Gallagher Documentary ‘As It Was’ On The Way

Fans of Oasis and their outstanding documentary Supersonic should look out for a new feature coming to screens in the near future. Screen is reporting that Liam Gallagher: As It Was is on the way and will focus about the legendary Britpop frontman tell his story in his own words – as only he can – how he went from fronting Oasis to “living on the edge, ostracised lost in the musical wilderness of boredom, booze, and bitter legal battles”.

The trade says that the movie will head to the buying market at Cannes next week.

The feature documentary will reportedly contain footage from Gallagher’s performances at Reading, The Ritz, One Love Manchester and Glastonbury, as well as his sell-out gig in Finsbury Park.

Gallagher is quoted as saying: “As It Was is a documentary about my musical comeback. It covers the writing and recording of my first solo album, right through to playing it live for the very first time in my hometown of Manchester and around the world. I hope you enjoy the film… As You Were.”
