Schwarzenegger And Kim Jee-woon Find Their Leading Lady For The Last Stand

After spending the summer hanging around with thunder gods in THOR, Variety are reporting that Jaimie Alexander will be the leading lady in Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kim Jee-woon’s THE LAST STAND.

This will make the English language debut feature from acclaimed Korean director, Kim Jee-woon (I SAW THE DEVIL) which sees Scharzenegger arrive in a quiet town and taking up the mantle of sheriff to fight a drug cartel. Alexander is said to play Sarah Torrance, one of Schwarzenegger’s deputies but does not, romantically, mix it up with the Govenator but with fellow deputy Frank Martinez played by Rodrigo Santoro (300).

Also cast in the production is Peter Stormare (FARGO) and Zach Gilford (SUPER) with shooting starting 20 October and a 18th January 2013 release date.

Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
