The eleventh series of Doctor Who, which sees Jodie Whittaker assume the role of the new doctor, has been released by the BBC. Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill are also amongst the cast of the new season, which also has a new showrunner in Broadchurch‘s Chris Chibnall.
The new season will see it play on UK screens on Sundays rather that the traditional Saturday nights.
Chibnall said: “New Doctor, new home! Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor is about to burst into Sunday nights — and make the end of the weekend so much more exciting.”
Doctor Who season 11 hits BBC One on Sunday, October 7th.
