A final trailer has arrived for the incoming World War II-set horror film Overlord which is being directed by Julius Avery (Son of a Gun), based on an original idea by The Hunger Games screenwriter Billy Ray and J.J. Abrams. Ray wrote the screenplay for the film with Mark L. Smith. This still looks insane and I can’t wait to check it out.

With only hours until D-Day, a team of American paratroopers drops into Nazi-occupied France to carry out a mission that’s crucial to the invasion’s success. Tasked with destroying a radio transmitter atop a fortified church, the desperate soldiers join forces with a young French villager to penetrate the walls and take down the tower.
