The next 007 film will be the 25th adventure of James Bond we have seen played on the big screen, his fans have been patiently waiting for the new release. Daniel Craig will once again take on the role of James bond with Danny Boyle skillfully directing. The film is set to be released on October 25th, 2019. The franchises last film, Spectre, was successfully released in 2015.
Cary Fukunaga was brought in as a replacement director after it was rumored there was “creative differences” with previous director Danny Boyle, it must be stated that Craig is still on board with the film. Because of the replacement, there was a delay on the movie. Filming will not start until March 2019 meaning that it won’t be released until February 14th, 2020 around the world.
Despite all the uncertainty surrounding one of the world’s most anticipated movies, you can be sure that there’ll be quite a few eye-catching cars gracing the big screen once Bond 25 arrives at cinemas. Join us as we speculate which vehicles 007 will be behind the wheel of come February 2020…
Eye catching car are something the Bond films are known for and with each release its certainly one of the most anticipated features of the film. Join in as we speculate which spectacular cars could be featured in the 2020 film.
Jaguar
Are you a big Bond movie fan? Well if so here’s a fact for you. Since Daniel Craig has played James Bond, there has been at least one jaguar in every film. Bond 25 is expected to be Craig’s last on-screen portrayal of 007 so it would be suitable for at least one more jaguar to make an appearance.
Wouldn’t it be great if Bond could both save the world and me environmentally friendly? Imagine Bond saving the world once again behind the wheel of the Jaguar I-PACE. This car is the first all-electric performance SUV from the British manufacturer. Bond would be able to race the car close to 300 miles along the road before its battery requires a charge.
There won’t be any worries from 007 driving this car as the I-PACE can reach 60mph from a standstill in a mere 4.5 seconds. The car has great reduced drag because of the inwards curve of the car’s grille — blink and you may well miss Bond flying across your cinema screens!
Aston Martin
From Aston Martin Vantage to DB11 the most special Aston Martin was the custom DB10 created specifically for Spectre. It’s safe to say the brand has been well shown off by Bond. An Aston Martin has been seen in 8 James Bond films so far, would the film even be worth seeing without an Aston Martin driving across your screen?
We predict there will be a new Aston Martin in store for the new film designed specifically for Bond however we would be shocked if the DB5 made another guest appearance.
Created by chief creative officer Marek Reichman, let me introduce you to the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, it is known for being “the definitive Aston Martin Super GT”. Bond is known for attending some prestigious events and this car would not disappoint if it was used to pull up to a black-tie event. The car can go from 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and then reach a top speed of 211mph which is definitely impressive and helpful for Bond when is car chasing situations.
Audi
The German manufacturer Audi has made a few appearances in Bond films over the years. While it is more common to know Tony Stark driving the Audi, both an Audi 200 Quattro and Audi 200 Quattro Avant have been shown of in the 1987 film The Living Daylights, an Audi A6 and A5 have appeared in the more recent blockbusters Quantum of Solace and Skyfall, respectively.
In Bond 25, maybe he takes a step further and end up driving the Audi Aicon, one of the most luxurious models of the German brand. Bond wont actually need to drive the vehicle while he’s onboard, leaving him time to concentrate on more important Bond things.
To offer a hint of comedy to the film, the cars lights work and digital display board and can go as far as to pull faces and convey different messages when Bond catches up to one of his enemies.
