One of the best finds in the side strands at last year’s Cannes Film Festival was the thriller Arctic. It is a survival story starring the excellent Mads Mikkelsen and we really rather liked it when we caught it.

Mikkelsen plays a man stranded in the Arctic after an airplane crash must decide whether to remain in the relative safety of his makeshift camp or to embark on a deadly trek through the unknown in hopes of making it out alive.
It is directed by Joe Penna in his feature directorial debut and it starts to roll out in cinemas from February. Watch the thrilling new trailer below.
