I’ve got a feeling that 2019 could be another very good year for Mads Mikkelsen. Not only does he have the forthcoming Arctic (which is brilliant) on the way later in the year, he has this epic Netflix movie coming your way later this month. Mikkelsen stars alongside the likes of Vanessa Hudgens, Katheryn Winnick and Matt Lucas in Polar, which lands on the streaming platform at the end of January.

The world’s top assassin, Duncan Vizla, aka The Black Kaiser (Mads Mikkelsen), is settling into retirement when his former employer marks him as a liability to the firm. Against his will, he finds himself back in the game going head to head with an army of younger, faster, ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to have him silenced.
