Christian Bale has reportedly passed of Darren Aronofsky’s biblical epic NOAH, leaving the Ark doors open for someone else to take the title role. If rumours are to be believed, the BLACK SWAN director is eyeing man-of-the-moment Michael Fassbender for the role.
Fassbender is on a serious roll at the moment, having demonstrated his acting chops in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, SHAME, and A DANGEROUS METHOD. He is also reportedly up for the role of Murphy in the imminent ROBOCOP remake.
NOAH comes from a script penned by Aronofsky himself along with Ari Handel, with subsequent rewrites from GLADIATOR writer John Logan.
