Fox Searchlight has released the first two images from the next film from Beasts Of The Southern Wild filmmaker Benh Zeitlin, a new movie titled Wendy, based on the classic Peter Pan story.
The first two images have been released along with the official synopsis, which is as follows.
The classic story of Peter Pan is wildly reimagined in this ragtag epic from Benh Zeitlin, director of BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD. Lost on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unglued, Wendy must fight to save her family, her freedom, and the joyous spirit of youth from the deadly peril of growing up.
Wendy is currently set for release next year with the early 2020 film festivals rumoured for its debut.
