Here is, quite literally, one of the most terrifying and best-constructed movie trailers of the year so far. Antlers is the latest film from acclaimed filmmaker Scott Cooper, and comes to the screen via Fox Searchlight, who will release it very soon.
Synopsis: In Antlers, a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.
That dangerous secret is featured in the trailer which features no dialogue apart from one word; ‘Daddy’. It will send shivers up your spine.
Antlers will hit cinemas in 2020. It is directed by Scott Cooper, and produced by Guillermo del Toro, David S. Goyer and J. Miles Dale, from a screenplay written by C. Henry Chaisson, Nick Antosca and Cooper. It is based on the book The Quiet Boy by Nick Antosca.
