The excellent How To Build A Girl is to get a physical home release very soon courtesy of Lionsgate. The movie, led by Beanie Feldstein and based on Caitlin Moran’s book of the same name, will land on digital platforms from 26th October, and then on DVD from 2nd November.
It’s 1993, and there’s only one way for a curvy, bright, funny, working-class sixteen year old to break out of her tiny, crowded house in Wolverhampton, and go on the somehow noble sex-quest she desires – to reinvent herself as swashbuckling, top-hat-wearing rock critic Dolly Wilde, and explode all over London. The only question is – was Dolly Wilde the right girl to build?
The film also stars Alfie Allen, Paddy Considine, Chris O’Dowd, Emma Thompson, Sarah Solemani, Laurie Kynaston, Joanna Scanlan, Arinzé Kene, Frank Dillane, Tadhg Murphy and Ziggy Heath.
Bonus features include:
- Building The Girl (19 Mins)
- My Life In Wolverhampton (6 Mins)
- The God Wall (5 Mins)
