Netflix has finally landed the first-look teaser trailer for David Fincher’s next film, Mank. The film, led by Gary Oldman as the title character, screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz, will land on 4th December, following a run in cinemas in November.
The logline is as follows: 1930s Hollywood is re-evaluated through the eyes of scathing social critic and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he races to finish the screenplay of Citizen Kane for Orson Welles.
Also amongst the cast is Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, and Charles Dance. This has to be high on everyone’s watchlist come next month. After all, this is Fincher’s first film since Gone Girl six years ago!
