On Friday Warner Bros confirmed that we’ll see the first trailer for THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY linked to the US release of TINTIN and now today we have an awesome shot of Martin Freeman as that famous Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins.
This isn’t out until Christmas 2012 but we’re expecting another epic from Peter Jackson alongside the LOTR trilogy that helped re-define modern age cinema. Here’s your shot:
THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY is out in the UK on December 13th 2012. It’s directed by Peter Jackson and stars Martin Freeman, Elijah Wood, Cate Blanchett,Hugo Weaving, Christopher Lee, Andy Serkis, Ian McKellen, Ian Holm, James Nesbitt, Evangeline Lilly, Luke Evans and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Please, let it be better than LOTR! Not that LOTR wasn’t a great achievement, but like Avatar, there were something missing beneath the greatness. I know The Hobbit better than LOTR, and love it, so if I don’t love these movies I know that there’s something Jackson doesn’t quite grasp about the books. I wish him all the best of luck though.
