In August of this year, we lost one of the best actors of his generation, Chadwick Boseman. After stunning turns in the likes of 42, Marshall, Get On Up (as James Brown), this year’s Da 5 Bloods, and, of course, Black Panther, amongst many others, Boseman passed away at the age of just 43. Now, in a touching tribute, Disney and Marvel have updated the Marvel Studios’ iconic intro logo on the Black Panther Disney+ stream to feature the actor in a series of stills and video footage. The new logo appeared on Sunday 29th November on what would have been Boseman’s 44th birthday.
Take a look at the the new intro below.

Disney Chairman Bob Iger also paid tribute to Boseman late on Saturday night.
To all fans of #BlackPanther: watch the film on #DisneyPlus late tonight, for a special tribute to someone that was and will always be near and dear to our hearts.

A sad loss, though Boseman’s memory will continue to live on through his impressive film and television back catalogue. He also completed work on another movie, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, which is set to debut on Netflix on 18th December.
