Universal has released the first trailer for In The Earth, the upcoming horror movie from Ben Wheatley which will be released later this year. The film was shot during the pandemic and will head to cinemas in June following a world premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival back in January.
As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.
An atmospheric new horror from visionary writer-director Ben Wheatley (Kill List, A Field In England, High-Rise, Free Fire), In The Earth stars Joel Fry (Game of Thrones, Yesterday, Cruella), Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen, A Field In England, High-Rise), Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake, In Fabric), Ellora Torchia (Midsommar), Mark Monero (Wild Bill, Free Fire) and John Hollingworth (1917, Rebecca).
