A release date for Black Adam, DC and Warner Bros.’ soon-to-start-shooting comic book movie has got itself a release date; 29th July, 2022. The big reveal came from the star of the movie himself, Dwayne Johnson.
Posting on his social channels on Sunday, Johnson revealed a Times Square video showing every ad screen seemingly taken over by the studio, which ultimately revealed the release date.
Black Adam starts shooting in two weeks with Sarah Shahi, Pierce Brosnan, and Aldis Hodge joining Johnson in the movie.
Jaume Collet-Serra will direct the movie, re-teaming with Johnson after directing him in the still-to-be-released Disney movie Jungle Cruise. That film is due later this year.
