It looks like the third film in the Thor superhero series, Thor: Love and Thunder, has gained another superstar in Russell Crowe, according to trade paper Deadline. The publication didn’t have details on who the actor was playing in the movie, but did reportedy get confirmation that he will appear after being pictures with the rest of the cast over the weekend.
The third Thor movie is currently shooting in Australia for a May 2022 release with Chris Hemsworth returning to play the title character. Joining him will be Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, and Jeff Goldblum, amongst others.
The film is a direct sequel to Thor: Ragnarok and will once again be directed by Taika Waititi.
