Netflix unveils the new trailer for ‘The Woman In The Window’ with Amy Adams

Based on the novel by A.J. Finn.

Ahead of its release on the streamer next month, Netflix has released the brand new trailer for The Woman In The Window, the film version of the bestseller led by Amy Adams. ‘Confined to her home by agoraphobia, a psychologist becomes obsessed with her new neighbours — and solving a brutal crime she witnesses from her window.’ This one has been delayed for a little while, first being set for the big screen but then being snapped up by Netflix from 20th Century Fox.

Adams leads a cast that includes Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Fred Hechinger, Wyatt Russell, Brian Tyree Henry, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Julianne Moore. The film, directed by Joe Wright, hits Netflix on 14th May.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Anna Fox (Amy Adams) is an agoraphobic child psychologist who finds herself keeping tabs on the picture perfect family across the street through the windows of her New York City brownstone. Her life is turned upside down when she inadvertently witnesses a brutal crime. Based on the gripping, best-selling novel adapted by Tracy Letts, shocking secrets are revealed and nothing and no one are what they seem in this suspenseful psychological thriller.
