Dave Bautista, soon to be seen in Zack Snyder’s zombie movie Army Of The Dead (pictured below), has reportedly joined the cast of Rian Johnson’s murder-mystery sequel to Knives Out, reuniting him with his SPECTRE co-star, Daniel Craig.
Craig reprises his role as super-sleuth Detective Benoit Blanc in the movie, which is set up over at Netflix. The film is heavily in development with Johnson returning to write and direct the feature for the streamer.
Variety reports the news of Bautista’s casting, but there was no confirmation on who he may play in the planned feature. A third film is also in the works in a highly lucrative deal carved out between the filmmakers and the streaming platform.
There are also no plot details as yet, but the trade did add that shooting is set to begin on the movie this summer in Greece. More as it comes our way.
