Trailer for supernatural horror film ‘Umma’ with Sandra Oh

A new trailer has dropped for an intriguing new film titled Umma, a horror movie led by the great Sandra Oh, set for screens later this spring. This one hits pretty soon on 25th March, and comes from producer Sam Raimi and writer/director Iris K. Shim.

The synopsis is as follows:

Umma, which is the Korean word for “mother,” follows Amanda (Sandra Oh) and her daughter (Fivel Stewart) living a quiet life on an American farm, but when the remains of her estranged mother arrive from Korea, Amanda becomes haunted by the fear of turning into her own mother.

Sony Pictures will release this one exclusively in cinemas so you won’t be able to pick it up on streaming services or PVOD for a little while. It does look very good.

We have a new trailer and poster for the movie below. More as it comes our way.
