Some pretty big casting news broke over the weekend with the announcement that Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson, had joined the cast of ‘Fast and Furious 10’. The news comes from star and producer Vin Diesel himself.
Diesel posted an Instagram update announcing Larson’s casting in the film, captioning an image of them both: “Clearly there is love and laughter in this image. What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie.”
Fast 10 is the first of a duo of movies to conclude the epic series which will once again see Justin Lin take the helm. The film is once again set up over at Universal Pictures with a spring 2023 release already scheduled. Jason Momoa is also confirmed to be starring in the new sequel.
