One of the best films of 2019 was the pressure-cooker of a film that was Uncut Gems, potentially my favourite movie of that year. The film can now be viewed on Netflix but there is some very loose news that the directors of the film and its leading man, Adam Sandler, could be ready to link up for a brand new project.
The news seems to hail from Indiewire, who reports that, according to their sources, “Sandler and the Safdies are already cooking up another project.”
There’s no elaboration on that, but if true, this is exciting news as we’d love to see another thriller with the trio.
