The tenth film in the multi-billion dollar grossing ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise has itself an official title as production kicks off. Vin Diesel announced the news on his Instagram page on Tuesday, gaining 1.3 million post likes at the time of writing.

Justin Lin returns to direct the new sequel, part of a double header to round off the franchise. It is the sixth film that Lin has directed in the franchise, starting all of the way back with the third film, ‘Tokyo Drift’.
Brie Larson and Jason Momoa are also joining the cast of the film, which also sees the return of popular characters Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Ludacris). Han (Sung Kang) and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel).
The release date is currently set for 19th May 2023.
