The dates for next year’s Sundance Film Festival in Utah have been announced. Sundance 2023 will take place as a hybrid festival in Park City, Salt Lake City, Utah, and beyond, from January 19 to January 29, 2023.
“We can’t wait to return to our home in Park City and present exciting new work from around the world live and in person,” said Festival Director Tabitha Jackson. “We also have two years of digital exhibition and participation under our collective belt, and are returning to the excitement and immediacy of live events while retaining a powerful online offering.”
This year’s event was hosted online with audiences from around the world tuning in. This year’s event saw the likes of After Yang, Cha Cha Real Smooth, Call Jane, and Good Luck To You, Leo Grande (pictured above), amongst others making their festival bows.
The 2021 edition, also hosted online, saw the likes of CODA, Summer of Soul (…or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised), Mass, Flee, and Passing, all debut.
