A first trailer has been released for the Sundance breakout, Brian and Charles. The British film, which premiered at the American festival back in January, is directed by Jim Archer, written by David Earl and Chris Hayward, and stars Earl.
Chris Hayward, Louise Brealey, James Michie and Nina Sosanya are also among the main cast of the feature, which will land on screens in the UK on 8th July.
Here’s the synopsis:
Meet Brian — a lonely, luckless inventor who takes on his most ambitious project yet. Enter Charles — Brian’s extraordinary masterpiece – an artificially intelligent robot made from odds and ends, including an old washing machine, who has an inexplicable obsession with cabbages. Together, Brian and Charles is a heartwarming and entertaining tale about friendship, family, finding love, and letting go.
