A trailer has arrived for Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, the movie version of the hit stage show set for screens later this year. The upcoming film is directed by Matthew Warchus, and written by Dennis Kelly. It is based on the 1988 children’s novel of the same name by Roald Dahl and the 2010 musical adaptation of the book.
The feature, that will be release in the UK by Sony Pictures and in some territories on Netflix, stars Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull, Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough as Mr & Mrs Wormwood, Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey and Alisha Weir as Matilda.
