Tulsa King, the upcoming series starring Sylvester Stallone has had a first teaser trailer released ahead of its debut on Paramount+ very soon. This new teaser doesn’t give too much away but it does show us the kind of tone of the show, which has some serious Sopranos/ Goodfellas vibes to it. Liking what I see.
Stallone leads the cast, starring alongside the likes of Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, A.C. Peterson, and Garrett Hedlund. The series was created by Terence Winter and Taylor Sheridan so there’s good pedigree to it.
Here’s the synopsis:
Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone), just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.
Tulsa King comes to Paramount+ from 13th November.
