Ten years after last attending the festival, Neil Marshall returns to FrightFest with his latest offering, The Lair. The film will actually get a release pretty soon, with the feature set to hit screens in October, but last night, British audiences got their eyeballs on the movie for the first time in Leicester Square debuted on opening night of the legendary summer horror festival.
Here’s the official synopsis for the movie.
When Royal Air Force pilot Lt. Kate Sinclair is shot down over Afghanistan, she finds refuge in an abandoned underground bunker where deadly man-made biological weapons — half human, half alien — are awakened.
We just posted our own, fairly positive review of the film over here, but you can check our own Kat Hughes’ interviews with Marshall himself, co-writer and star Charlotte Kirk, as well as chats with fellow cast members Hadi Khanjanpour, Tanji Kibong, Adam Bond and Alex Morgan, all below.
