Todd Fields’ Tár has got a new trailer. The film will arrive in the UK in January 2023 after debuting at fall film festivals – and the word of mouth is very good.
Cate Blanchett leads the cast, alongside Noémie Merlant, Nina Hoss, Sophie Kauer, Julian Glover, Allan Corduner and Mark Strong. It had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
The official logline is as follows:
Cate Blanchett as the iconic musician Lydia Tár. TÁR examines the changing nature of power, its impact and durability in our modern world.
The film has a UK release date set for 23rd January 2023. US audiences will get the film much earlier – next week in fact, from October 7th.
