Matt Damon and Casey Affleck are reportedly set to topline filmmaker Doug Liman’s new film, The Instigators. The film is set up at Apple Original Films with the two actors playing thieves.
The project, reportedly a heist film, is about the two men who who must go on the run with the help of one of their therapists after a robbery goes awry, so reports Deadline. Chuck MacLean wrote the script for the feature with Ben Affleck and Damon producing.
Casey Affleck and Matt Damon appeared together in the Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting some 25 years ago. They also starred on screen together once again in Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, and Ocean’s Thirteen.
No timescale on The Instigators, but we’ll keep you posted.
