The 43rd London Critics’ Circle Awards nominations have just been announced and The Banshees of Inisherin and Aftersun lead the way in terms of nods. British-Irish director Martin McDonagh’s dark tragicomedy The Banshees of Inisherin leads with nine nominations. McDonagh, while with eight nominations, was Scottish debut filmmaker Charlotte Wells’ powerful coming-of-age story Aftersun.
Tár, Everything Everywhere All At Once, and The Wonder all scored six nominations.
