Anticipation is amping up for Jeremy Renner’s turn as Alex Cross in THE BOURNE LEGACY. Taking over as lead from Matt Damon’s now iconic role, his character will be set in the same ‘universe’, and will feature the returning Joan Allen, Albert Finney and Scott Glenn.
THE HURT LOCKER actor has already shown he has the appetite for epic action after his recent role in MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL. Take a look at the new ‘steely’ teaser poster for the latest Bourne(less) adventure.
THE BOURNE LEGACY is released 17th August 2012 and is directed by previous Bourne screenwriter Tony Gilroy. The film will also feature Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz and Stacey Keach.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
