A new trailer has arrived for Celine Song’s brilliant film, Past Lives. This is definitely one of the best films of the year and is going great guns on the festival circuit after playing at both Sundance and the Berlinale earlier in the year.
The film is the debut feature from the playwright Celine Song and stars Greta Lee (Russian Doll), Teo Yoo (Decision to Leave) and John Magaro (The Many Saints of Newark).
Nora (Greta Lee) and Hae Sung (Teo Yoo), two deeply connected childhood friends, are wrest apart after Nora’s family emigrates from South Korea. Two decades later, they are reunited in New York for one fateful week as they confront notions of destiny, love, and the choices that make a life, in this heartrending modern romance.
