Sony Pictures has released the very first trailer for the Ridley Scott-helmed Napoleon which they will release in cinemas later in the year. The Apple-backed film will then be available on the Apple TV+ service at a later date.
Vanessa Kirby and Tahar Rahim also line up among the cast. As well as the trailer, we also have two stunning posters for the release, both of which you can see below.
An official logline is as follows.
Napoleon is a spectacle-filled action epic that details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, played by Oscar®-winner Joaquin Phoenix. Against a stunning backdrop of large-scale filmmaking orchestrated by legendary director Ridley Scott, the film captures Bonaparte’s relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his one true love, Josephine, showcasing his visionary military and political tactics against some of the most dynamic practical battle sequences ever filmed.
The film will be released by Sony on 22nd November.
