Briefly: Warner Bros. Pictures has set a release date for the debut trailer for Joker sequel Joker: Folie A Deux. The promo will debut at CinemaCon and online on 9th April.
Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga lead the cast of the DC film which is directed by Todd Phillips. Both appear in a first poster for the film which you can see above.
Set for screens on 4th October, the sequel seems to be complete with an MPAA rating already in place across the pond. The feature has been rated R for “some strong violence, language throughout, some sexuality, and brief full nudity.”
Expect a hard 15 or possibly an 18 certificate in the UK. At the time of writing a BBFC rating was not available.
Zazie Beetz, Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, and Jacob Lofland are also among the cast.
