A first trailer for Sony Pictures upcoming Here, a movie that reunites Forrest Gump stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, along with director Robert Zemeckis and writer Eric Roth, has landed online.
The film itself is based on the graphic novel by Richard McGuire. The film will be set in one location with the camera not moving throughout the running time. This being a Zemeckis movie, expect tons of visual wonder, including the actors’ de-ageing during early scenes and then aged for the latter part of proceedings. Frankly, it looks wonderful.
Official synopsis is as follows.
From the reunited director, writer, and stars of Forrest Gump, Here is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the human experience in its purest form. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, screenplay by Eric Roth & Zemeckis and told much in the style of the acclaimed graphic novel by Richard McGuire on which it is based, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright star in a tale of love, loss, laughter and life, all of which happen right Here.
The film hits cinemas on 15th November. Here’s the trailer for Here which just became one of my most anticipated of the year.
